Knights Close Out Regular Season with a Victory
The Boys 8″A” basketball team finished their regular season with a 32-28 win over Loveland. The Knights played good defense, allowing the Loveland Tigers to only score 4 points during the first half of the game. This win marks Kings 4th win in a row to end the regular season with a 6-10 record
Knights are on a 3 game winning streak
The Boys 8 “A” basketball team defeated Little Miami 48-24 last night to give them three wins in a row. Avery Koller was high scorer with 15 points and Keenan Williams had 12 points, all in the second half of the game. The boys play their final game of the season Wednesday night at home versus Loveland.
Knights snap losing skid
The Boys 8 “A” Basketball team played well together and finally got it right to beat Nagel Silver 43-26. High scorer was Bryson “squints” Lonsbury with 14 points. Kings plays Wilmington at home on Thursday.
Knights Lose in OT
The Boys 8″A” basketball team was up by 2 points at half, went to overtime, but came out on the short end. Final score Walnut Hills 47- Kings 43 Every team player contributed to the score and Avery Koller was high scorer with 14 points.
Knights Comeback Falls Short
The Boys 8″A” basketball team started slow but finished strong with a record 25 points in the 4th quarter. However, luck was not in their favor and they lost to Glen Este by a score of 49-46. The team had a record three players foul out. Jake Bedinghaus was high scorer with 15 points. Good luck to the Knights as they travel to Walnut Hills Thursday.
Knights fall against Milford
The boys 8A basketball team was defeated by the big boys of Milford last night 51-33. The Knights started slow but outscored Milford in the 4th quarter. High Scorers of the game were Jake Bedinghaus with 12 points and Avery Koeller with 11 points. The boys travel to Nagel tonight to face Nagel Blue.
Knights win in 2012
The 8th grade Knights win their first game in 2012, beating Walnut Hills 39-24. Avery Koeller led all scorers. The Knights were in control the entire game.
Knights drop first two games in 2012
The Boys 8A basketball team lost their first two games in 2012.
On Wednesday, Kings first game in 20 days, Loveland dominated their home court and Kings had trouble putting the ball in the basket. Bryson Lonsbury had over half of Kings points with 11. The final score was 32-20.
Thursday’s game against Nagel Blue was very exciting. Kings players worked together and led the game until the last minute when Nagel pulled ahead for a final score of 34-32. Jake Bedinghaus led the scoring with 15 of the total 32 points.
Knights lose Nail Biter
The 8th grade team, faced Wilmington who came into the game ranked #1 in the conference. The Knights were up at the half 25-22. After a nip and tuck 3rd quarter, fatigue set in for the Knights and Wilmington pulled away late in the 4th quarter. The final score, Wilmington 40 – Kings 35. Jake Bedinghaus led all scorers with 17 points.
The Knights play at home Wednesday, Dec 14 against Little Miami. Gametime is immediately after the 7th grade.
Knights Fall in Season Opener
The Boys 8A basketball team coached by Robert Fails traveled to Bishop Fenwick on Saturday Dec. 10th for their first regular season game. They were up by one point at half, but ultimately lost 43-28. Better luck to the boys this week in their games with Wilmington, Little Miami and Nagel.
