RGK sweeps Nagel Blue

The Runnin’ Gunnin’ Knights defeat Nagel Blue for the second time this season, 64-22, last night. It was a valiant team effort, as everyone scored last night. Tyler Knecht led all scores with 23 points. The Knights outscored Nagel 30-2 in the 2nd quarter. The Knights play again Saturday at 1:30, at home against Dayton Chaminade-Julienne.

 

The Young Knights remain undefeated by defeating Milford 50-39 last night. Both teams entered the game undefeated, Kings at 7-0 and Milford at 9-0. After jumping out to a 12-2 lead to end the first quarter, the Milford Eagles outscored the Knights 15-9 in the 2nd quarter. Halftime score Kings 21-17. The Eagles outscored the Knights in the 3rd as well 14-11, to allow the Knights to lead going in the 4th quarter 32-31. The Eagles, who had the momentum, took the lead early in the 4th. But with the Student Section cheering and getting the crowd involved, the Knights rallied and outscored the Eagles 18-8 to finish the game.  Tyler Knecht led all scorers with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Matt Sichterman finished with 10 points and Jaden Sayles finished with 9 points. The Knights travel to Nagel tonight to face Nagel Blue. The Knights are now at 8-0 and are in sole possesion of first place in the conference.

 

 

The young Knights used a team effort in dismantling the Eagles of Walnut Hills last night. Final score, Kings 72 – Walnut Hills 30. Tyler Knecht led all scorers with 21 points. Tyler Mitchell and Jaden Sayles both finished with 12, and Matt Sichterman chipped in 11 points. The Knights improve to 7-0 and 6-0 in conference play.

MID-SEASON SHOWDOWN

Wednesday, January 11, the Knights face #2 and undefeated Milford at home. The Knights are asking for everyone’s support by wearing BLACK. Student’s who wear BLACK to the game will get in for only $1. Gametime is at 4:30.

 

 

After leading late in the 1st quarter 24-0, the young Knights cruised to a 59-10 victory over visiting Nagel Blue. The Knights improve to 6-0 on the season and 5-0 in conference play. Tyler Knecht led all scorers with 17 points.

The young Knights began 2012 and improved to 5-0 with a convinving 46-29 win over neighborhood rival and previously undefeated Loveland. The uptempo style and defensive pressure of the Runnin’ Gunnin’ Knights ulitmately was too much for the Tigers to handle. Tyler Mitchell led all scorers with 12 points. Tyler Knecht finished with 10 points while Foster Martin and Matt Sichterman both finished with 8 points. The Knights have a 3 game home stretch beginning 1/5/11, against Nagel Blue. Gametime is at 4:30

The young Runnin’ Gunnin’ Knights improve to 4-0 going into the holiday break, with a 65-30 win at Nagel Silver. Tyler Knecht and Matt Sichterman led all scorers with 16 and 14 points respectively. Jaden Sayles grabbed 10 rebounds. Foster Martin, Gabe Stacy, and Tyler Mitchell led them team in steals and assists. Dan Sichterman, Kyle Philpot, and Avery Roe provided sparks at key moments in the game.

The Knights are off until a showdown on January 4th, against undefeated and conference rival Loveland. The game is at Loveland Middle School.

The Young Knights improved to 3-0 with an impressive victory of the Panthers of  Little Miami. Final score in a packed gym was Kings 70 Little Miami 10. Tyler Mitchell led all scorers with 13 pts.

The Young Knights traveled to Wilmington Middle School last night to face the Hurricanes for the season conference opener. The Knights pressure defense was no match for the Hurricanes as they generated 36 steals. The final score Kings 69 – Wilmington 8. Matt Sichterman lead all scorers with 17 points. Tyler Knecht also scored in double figures with 11. Tyler Mitchell, Foster Martin, and Kyle Philpot lead the team in assists.  Jaden Sayles and Dan Sichterman lead the team in rebounds. Avery Roe, Gabe Stacy, and Maguire Stinson contributed as well..

The Runnin’ Gunnin’ Knights have their home opener Wednesday, December 14th against Little Miami. Gametime is 4:30pm. Come out and support

The Kings 7th grade Runnin’ Gunnin’ Knights began their season with a 66-22 triumph over Bishop Fenwick. The Knights were lead by Tyler Knecht with 22 pts and Matt Sichterman with 16 pts. Jaden Sayles had a double double with 10pts and 11 rebounds. Tyler Mitchell and Foster Martin had 7 and 6 assists respectively.

The Young Knights begin league play Monday 12/12 @ Wilmington. Gametime is 4:30pm
