This week Kings played Edgewood on Tuesday and was victorious 31 to 15.  Kings was led in scoring by Kennedy Cook with 7 poins, followed by Austin Copeland and Nick Handorf with 6 points and Paul Rooney with 5 points.  A total of 7 players scored for Kings.  On Thursday, Kings played Mason in a rematch of last weeks double overtime thriller.   This game was no exception.   Kings led 15 to 11 at the half.  Mason went on a 8 to 2 run in the third quarter and was leading 19 to 17 at the end of the third quarter.   In the fourth quarter Kings held Mason to 0 points and Kings was able to score 4 ponts in the quarter.    Therefore, winning another thriller against Mason 21 to 19.   Kings was led by Austin Copeland with 7 points, followed by Nick Wolf with 5 points.   A total of six Kings players scored.  

 Kings next game will be on 1/31 @ 7:00PM at Nagel.   

 The Kings 7th B invitational tourney starts on 2/2.   Kings plays on Monday 2/4 @ 7:00PM against the winner of Nagel and Wilmington.

Kings 7th B team played Little Miami on 1/08/08.  Kings won 32 to 6.  They were led in Scoring by Austin Copeland with 11 points.  He was followed by Nick Handorf with 8 points and Nick Wolf with 6.   Six Kings players scored.  On 1/10/08, Kings travelled to Mason to take on the Comets.  Kings led 12 to 3 after the first quarter and 17 to 5 at halftime.  Mason came out in the second half and showed that they were a good team by outscourcing Kings 11 to 4 in the 3rd quarter.   At the end of the 3rd quarter it was Kings leading 21 to 16.  Mason than came back in the 4th quarter to tie the game at the end of regulation 26 to 26.  The game ended up going into double overtime with Kings winning 31 to 28.  Kings was led in scoring by Austin Copeland with 10, Nick Wolf with 6 points and Cody Magella with 5 points.   Six Kings players scored.

This week Kings plays Edgewood on 1/15/08 at home and a rematch with Mason on 1/17/08 at home.

34 members and 3 coaches from the Kings Jr. High program and over 70 fans made the trip to Indianapolis to play on the NBA Court at Conseco Fieldhouse.    Read More about the event.
