Saturday’s game was a tale of two halves, the first looking as though the Lady Knights could play with the talented Eagles, leading through most of the second quarter. Look out!!!!! It’s basketball season and the 2007-2008 Lady Knights begin a new era, this Saturday night (11/17), at Northwest High School. Newly appointed head coach, John Karabinus, brings his high energy style to a program needing a jump start. We can only hope some of that energy translates to an exciting and successful brand of basketball.
Northwest will be difficult test, returning three starters from last year’s FAVC Scarlet co-championship team, they are picked to repeat.

• The Waynesville Spartans provided the opposition for the Lady Knight varsity, junior varsity and freshmen teams on Saturday morning. The scrimmages were held at Columbia Elementary.
• The Lady Knights like to run and look to push the ball up and down the floor. A lot of good hustle was observed including girls diving on the floor.
• Lunch was served to 7th – 12th grade players and their families. Several of the KBA Girls Coaches were also in attendance. Kings Knights Lady Basketball starts in the South Lebanon Youth Basketball League for First and Second Graders. Once a Lady Knight – Always a Lady Knight!
