The Miller’s led the way for the Lady Knights, Courtney tossing in a game high 16 points and Paige grabbed 7 rebounds, 5 steals and dished out 6 assists.
All of the girls played hard and came away with a big victory over the Spartans.
The Lady Knight freshman survived a nail biter 17-14, versus Loveland. Shannon Lance hit the game winner with only two seconds remaining in the game. Kings out scored the Tigers 5-1 in the fourth quarter. Lance led the Knights with 7 points, two defensive rebounds and one steal. Courtney Miller had four points, 4 defensive rebounds, four steals and took one charge. The Knights are 5-1 on the season.
With the score tied at the end of the first quarter, the Lady Knights jumped into a trapping 1-3-1 defense. Capitalizing on a number of steals, they were able to secure the lead in the second quarter and never looked back.
Courtney Miller led the team with 14 points followed by Logan Warye with 8. April Rumelhart was a perfect 4 for 4 from the line. Lauren Goodwin also contributed, by taking the ball to the hole with four points.
Logan Warye led the scoring with 11 points, followed by Sammy Jones with 8 and April Rumelhart with 6.
Kings came back from a 9 point deficit, Sammy Jones hit a three with thirty seconds left to tie it up. Walnut Hills hit two foul shots, with six seconds left, to seal the victory.

Kings started off slow and were actually trailing in the first quarter. After a time out, Kings picked up their intensity on defense, calmed down and played composed offense. Kings continued to improve through out the game.
Logan Warye led the team with 13 points in the second quarter, Jenica Stoetzel added 10 points. Shannon Lance, Logan and Jenica showed great enthusiasm and hustle throughout the game.
