The Knights lost their game to Pleasant Run on Monday 36-45. Zach Brashear’s 12 points and Tommy Schnee’s 7 rebounds simply could not match the fast-pace style of Pleasant Run. Pleasant Run was extremely athletic and quick, which made them difficult to defend. Their 13-point fourth quarter ended any comeback hopes for the Knights, and they conceded their first loss of the season, putting them 1-1. The Knights will travel to Ross on December 12th to play the Rams.
Last night the Knights won their season opener against their rival, the Loveland Tigers. Lead by Zach Renner (14 points), Tommy Schnee (6 points), Zach Brashear (5 points) and Nick Bellman (4 points), the Knights were able to defeat the Tigers 26-28. Kings defense also played a major role, holding Joe Moran and Alex Voss, Loveland’s two potent scorers, to a combined total of only 7 points. the Knights’ second game will take place on Dec. 10th at Pleasant Run Junior High School.
34 members and 3 coaches from the Kings Jr. High program and over 70 fans made the trip to Indianapolis to play on the NBA Court at Conseco Fieldhouse. Read More about the event.
